Web Page Design with FrontPage 2000

Course Objectives: This course provides the students with the ability to learn, design, and develop pages for publication on the World Wide Web.  Students will learn how to plan and design a Web presence via hands-on exercises using FrontPage 2000, Image Composer, Animated GIF, WS_FTP, etc. Furthermore, students will gain a lot of miscellaneous knowledge and skills (the most important part of the class) from this course.

This course differs from the college courses in that not only will we be covering the main theoretical aspects of Web design, but students will also create and maintain an actual Website. Thus this course will include a substantial amount of hands-on work, which may be done individually or in groups of two.

Prerequisites: Equivalent knowledge of  effective use of personal computers -- Be familiar with Personal Computers, Microsoft Windows and Office. Students are also expected to have their own eMail account and Internet access.
